I have a Turkey and a Bun in the Oven

Except I don't have a turkey in the oven--we went out out to dinner. Yes--that was an announcement. I'm 12 weeks along...details to come.

  1. Congrats! I announced on my blog too. However I actually took a picture of a hamburger bun in our oven. Most people thought it was a piece of meat, so I had to do some explaining.

  2. P.S. I think going out to dinner on Thanksgiving is a great idea. There is no shame.
No cleanup, no going "bobby" over dinner and decorating...it's perfect!
    Hope it was great!

  9. Seriously...Yea! I thought I had turned you off to 4 kids. Dr. H mentioned you had come in to see her, and then realized she shouldn't have. She didn't say for what, but I've been excited to talk to you!!!!

  12. Aggghhh!!! I know you well enough to know that you deliberated long and hard about when and how to announce this, then came up with this little autumnal-themed delight. I love it.

I'm as happy as the pilgrims at the first feast for you!

Boy or girl, boy or girl..hmm..

PS. Sam, this totally undermines the allegations made on the Bachelor post about Brooke not logging in time in the "Fantasy Suite." We're not buying your story!

  28. The Mostess, I don't think the following phrase has ever been used in the fantasy suite, "I think I'm ovulating, so we should probably do it." The ultimate mood killer. My allegations remain accurate.
