He is such a good boy and funny and a pleasure to be around. I especially love how nice he is to Charlie. I love that he laughs at my jokes. I too have some really special "moments with Luke" - one when he was riding on my lap (I was in a wheelchair shortly after hip surgery) going out of Disneyland. He was tired and snuggly and I too was telling him about how he was the first grandbaby and how excited we were to have him, etc. He listened pretty intently and was so sweet. We'll have to have another sleepover at grandma's house when I get home, Luke!
We (grandpa & I) love you!!
p.s. I have noticed how plays so well with all the "little" cousins, they love following him around. Kate made him a valentine for Valentine's Day. I can't believe that they are now old enough for kindergarten!!

That story about how excited he was about his mohawk haircut got ME choked up because I've seen my nephew with that same happy grin when he sees something cool. He is a great kid--low maintenance, always grateful, etc. Last Christmas, Luke was thrilled with every present, "Yeah, new underwear!" I have had to take him to the hospital a couple of times, and he is always a trooper and toughs it out.

He has always been very cuddly. When he was two, he would want me to lay on the floor next to him every morning while he watched t.v., so he had someone to cuddle. For some reason, mom was still in bed.Samhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02114503931346228313noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4671219598257411453.post-19969769942088069432009-02-16T22:27:00.000-08:002009-02-16T22:27:00.000-08:00I love this post! When all is said and done - the birthing, the cleaning up after, the taking care of sick babes, etc. - the bottom line is our kids are our greatest joy. I still feel that way after all these years.

I remember when Luke was born and Sam wouldn't let anyone hold him who hadn't "sanitized". It was so cute. He was always so adorable - and a little shy - which made him even more appealing. He's easy going - just like Jon was - and I'm sure he will bring you joy throughout you're whole life.

I love seeing parents brag about their kids. When Luke reads your blog, he will be even more sure of how you feel about him. There's something about the written word.....I think it just lasts longer.Pandyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05549609444619313866noreply@blogger.com
