Run Jillian!

You know that story about the snake that convinces the man to carry him to the top of the hill and promises not to bite him? When the snake finally gets to the top of the hill he bites the man and says "You knew what I was when you picked me up." Jillian is now seeing Ed for who is truly is--A snake! When I heard about Ed's infidelity, I was grateful for Jillian that she found out now. If Jillian stays with him, she will only have herself to blame.

Does everyone know what I'm talking about? If not, get your hands on a copy of Us Weekly (i.e. the Bible when it comes to celebrity gossip.) Us is reporting, along with other sources (and I have read them all!) that Ed had been seeing two other women when he left Chicago to go on the Bachelorette. When he came home "for work" in the middle of the show, he slept with both women. There are pictures of him at a wedding with one of the women. He then returned to the show.

It gets worse, way worse. After he proposed to Jillian (in the "most romantic/shocking/dramatic" rose ceremony in Bachelorette history) he returned to Chicago where one of the women picked him up at the airport and he slept with her again. She had no idea he got engaged on the show. He kept down playing the show and lied to both women about where he was. All of this is documented in emails and photos.

This just sickens me. I was rooting for Ed from the beginning and the thing I liked most about him was that he seemed like a stand-up guy. He appeared like he was genuinely in love with Jillian. He also seemed the most likely to propose. And don't get me started on the After the Final Rose. I've never seen another couple trying so hard to prove how in love and happy they are.

One of my favorite quotes by Maya Angelou is "If someone shows you who they are, believe them." Jillian is ignoring the truth. In interviews she is acting like the whole thing is being made up by these two women to hurt her and that she is just laughing it off. C'mon Jillian. You are a big girl. I know it would be excruciating to get rid of E.D. at this point but you are only going to save yourself years of heartache and regret by doing it now. Once a cheater, always a cheater. Give him the boot and run back to the loving arms of Reid if he'll still take you.

Fascinating post. I only have one question: who is Maya Angelou?

I am still struggling with this because I thought Ed and Jillian would last (mostly bc Jillian is willing to do what it takes, move to Chicago, etc.) and the other women do have the motive of getting in the limelight. However, they seem like pretty legit girls. Assuming it's true, it boggles my mind that Ed somehow thought he could get away with this--or else he didn't care about it getting out and he just wanted the publicity--good or bad. Either way, that is really dumb and shows no judgment. As I'm sure you know there's a rumor out there that Jillian already dumped him in Vegas over the weekend.

Another one bites the dust! When does next season start?

I about died when I saw the cover of US Weekly! I'm bummed. I agree that Jillian needs to run back to Reed.

If it's true I feel soo bad for her. Why did he even come back if he had two gals on the side? I mean, at least Wes had the decency to have only one girl on the side!

I didn't see the final or after the final bachelorette.... looks like I didn't miss anything. I am glad you keep me updated. I will be interested in knowing how it all works out... But seriously... who can really fall in LOVE forever in 6 weeks? (oh -- I forgot about Shelly, and they lived happily ever after IS possible)

Brooke I feel bad, you window is still in my garage. Dang it!

Don't feel bad Sheryl--you're giving me a window! We'll get it soon enough!

It is all disgusting. I agree, she should get rid of E.D. (according to US Weekly - the E.D. was caused by guilt!) and run back to JAKE!!

First of all, Sam's comment is HILARIOUS.

Second, I was not able to watch this season of the show, but I have read that US Weekly and it disgusts me.

Thirdly, the only constant in my marriage with D is that whenever one of us does something that is totally egregious, the other one says "You knew what I was when you picked me up." And there's no way to fight against that logic.

I don't want to say "I told you so" because that would be gloating...

BUT I TOLD YOU SO WORLD!

She should have picked Reid!

Doesn't Sam always say something along the lines of "these chicks are totally stupid, ignore all the nice guys, and inevitably pick a stupid loser who will break their heart, which, by this point, they deserve?"

Well said Sam. Right again.

First of all, I was on vacay and missed the Sun Valley post until recently. So I first, of course, have to tell you how fun that was to read and that I was utterly flattered by the picture you posted of us. :) Very cool.
Second, I also hate to say I told you so, but... well, you know the rest. I wanted this one to be different but apparently, it was like all the others. I totally agree that she should run back to Reid and BEG for him back.
