Big Kitchen Reveal

I figured out a way to get my photos uploaded onto my laptap at the hospital. So I'm posting way too many photos of my new kitchen. I will post more photos of the family room and mantel later. I love the new kitchen even more than I thought I would.

Every time I would tell Sam I wanted something for the kitchen, he would jokingly say "and then we'll be happy." He doesn't believe things can make you happy. The truth is, I was happy before--but my new kitchen sure does make me happy. Without further ado:

As much as I love my new kitchen, I'd give it all back to be assured that I will be bringing home a healthy baby boy in a week or two!

But aren't we supposed to seek things that are beautiful and praiseworthy? We need to surround ourselves with beauty and what better than a room you spend tons of time in! Looks great!

I love love love your kitchen. It is gorgeous in the pictures and in person. I wish mine looked like that. You got what you wanted and you deserve it. After listening to all of us building our kitchens and now you got to build yours. Love the decor as well.

Brooke, I am so sorry about your water breaking! I can't get you and your little one out of my mind. I've been praying for him to be nice and healthy. It's great you've been able to get the steroid injections. I would love to help with your kids, I'm sure your mom wants to be there with you.

Your house is amazing! I love everything you did! Nice work.

Reasons why your kitchen rocks:
Funky Microwave, Classic white distressed cupboard doors with gorgeous handles, Black Panels on breakfast bar, classy granite bench tops, stone look tile splash-back and sexy under-bench sink!!!
I am so glad your kitchen makes you happy.
I also hope your little one is doing ok at this very stressful time and that you and Sam and your family are keeping it together as best you can.

Brooke, this is weird, but I swear a while back you mentioned reading a really funny memoir recommended by a fellow blogger. Am I crazy? In the off chance I'm not, what was that book called?

I think you guys did a great job on the reno. Love to hear what you have learned and/or do differently next time - not that you have any desire to think about that right now. I think you did just enough - not too crazy and will add $$$ to your home value - brilliant! Listen, I have been were you are in the hospital, chilling, waiting for the baby to make its grand arrival. Enjoy it! Seemed impossible, but then again, you are not OCD like me. What a week it has been. I think you are awesome and can't wait to hear more about your newest little man!

What fun to go home with a new baby to a new home!
