Merry Christmas Baby!

All Sam wanted for Christmas was for me to clean out our pantry. Pretty pathetic that he had to ask for it as his only gift in order for me to deliver. I would show you a "before" picture but my pride (actually my dignity) does not allow it. He took the kids away for a couple hours on Saturday and I went to town. Behold our organized (organized enough for my standards) pantry:

Don't say I don't spoil you babe!

All I want for Christmas is for you to come and organize my pantry.
p.s. I saw it before and I always thought it was organized.

I hate to organize my pantry, I can never figure out how I should do it!! Good job!

Dear Anonymous--If you think that is bad--your really should have seen the before photo. Like I said, I have low standards. My favorite quote is "an immaculate home is the sign of a misspent life."

If you are anything like me it will stay this way for a couple weeks and then begin to settle into its natural state of dissaray (sp) very soon...BUT - it is fun while it lasts!

I think our husbands are a lot alike. Does Sam ask you to clean/organize the car too?

I just noticed anonymous' comment. Rude. I love your quote! True.

So I'm not only impressed by your organization, but more so by the size of the pantry! I dream of a walk-in pantry!

Awesome! Thanks for the 2007 & 2008 cards. Steve & I laughed so hard and believe me, we have needed a good laugh.

I think you could start a business...I have seriously thought about having a family home evening where all the college kids empty my pantry...then I clean it, repaper the shelfs and I put things away. (I put away so I can find them) I worked a week on cleaning mine the last time. It is ready again. When you posted about your boxes, I thought of my pantry. At least that is what it is suppose to be.

Merry Christmas!
It was fun to see you and your cute kids!

I think it looks great. An organized pantry is so hard for me. Someone is always in there getting something, or spilling something!

oh yeah...what's a pantry? Now a drive thru I know all about......

Brooke-
I'm impressed by the amount of food you have in there. Last time we were there, there was one case of Diet Coke.
I enjoy organizing pantries. Next time call me and I'll come over and do it for you.
I loved the Christmas Card this year. I laughed so hard about the Jonahs Brothers. When things slow down call us and we'll . . . EAT!

It is true. I told Brooke, back in March I believe, that all I wanted for Christmas was a clean pantry. She loves to spoil me.

Any suggestions for what I should ask for next year? I am leaning towards requesting dinner on back-to-back nights, which hasn't happened since the Clinton Administration.

Merry Christmas!
