Be Grateful for Your Husbands

Tonight I ran across this post on my friend Heather's blog about the new men emailing her from a dating site. I couldn't help but post this link on the heels of my Tiger post. There are some scary Larrys out there. Be prepared to laugh. Go here.

Just read it. Totally funny. My single sister-in-law has found some gems on those websites too.
How does one meet a normal guy?

I enjoy spreading joy to others through my painful dating experiences. If anyone has a good idea of how to meet normal guys, I'm all ears. Or, I'll just wait for one of you to get divorced from your husband and then I'll snatch him up. Thanks for the shout out Brooke!

Hilarious! Heather is too funny and I can't believe she has to deal with those for real.

Call me crazy, but I think it's pretty cruel to make fun of these guys on a blog.

Tyler,

Relax. It's all in good fun. I guarantee if you were in the dating world, and you were getting emails from the female equivalent of these guys, you'd be poking fun too.

Jill is funny too! I am grateful for my husband every time Heather reminds me how lucky I am not to be single.

Poor poor Heather. What would you even say to guys like this? Bleck. I am very very extra thankful for my hubby tonight. Thanks! :)

OK. I have to inform you and your readers that I may have brought some of this bad karma upon myself. The first time I was asked out, I was 16, and I shot him down, saying I was busy making jam...hey, he was creepy and stared at me in Geometry. You know him...he was in our ward. I'll tell you later. So, I paid for that by not getting asked out again until I was 22. At that point, God punished me again by inspiring the guy I liked to ask my twin sister to homecoming. Why? I do not know...and I am still puzzled as to my ongoing punishment...I am the Job of dating.
