Bye Bye Craig--the Not Cute Lawyer

I have to admit, I thought Chris was going home tonight. Maybe it's because he got no air time. Maybe it was the athletic shoes with his suit. At any rate, I was pleasantly surprised to see Craig--the not cute lawyer--go home.

The thing about Craig is--if you didn't watch the season from the beginning, you might have thought he was a decent guy. My sister Ashley fell into this trap. But this is where it pays to watch the whole season. Craig started the season as a whiny, complaining loudmouth in the house. He also tattled to Ali. He kept getting roses because Ali needed to send other guys home more than him. He didn't get a one-on-one date with Ali because she knew he wasn't cute and wasn't into him. But he won the date anyway from the wrestling competition. He was nice, even charming on the date. But there was no romance and I'm thrilled he went home tonight.

I have to admit, I was really nervous right there at the end for my Kirk but he pulled through.

As for Wrestler--he is a sleazy coward and he deserved everything he got tonight. I called it with him. The best is how he was trying to get away from Ali and the cameras. It reminded me of when Bill Gephardt goes after people--(you have to live in Utah to understand that reference) You know people are guilty when they run from the camera.

How awesome was the olive oil wrestling? I loved it. I think I even laughed out loud a couple times. Once again, Kirk had the best comments. He is funny people.

Not the Bachelorette--but you get the idea.

I know I'm jumping around here but it is late and I'm too lazy to rework this thing. I have to say I can't stand Ty. Do any of you like him? Talk about being here for the wrong reasons--I swear the guy is here to promote his music. Plus he's not attractive and I just want to see him go. Their whole date in the bath house kind of grossed me out. Can you even imagine how many nasty Turkish men have gotten naked in there?

I loved Ali's date with Frank and I'm really nervous about how he is going to break her heart. What could he possibly say to her? He seems the most in love with her. The drama! This is such good tv!

I love Roberto. Believe me girls, I love Roberto but it seems that he is in the background a lot. Hopefully he will get more one-on-one time in Portugal. I think Chris's days are numbered. He is just a bit immature and I don't think he and Ali have the chemistry that she has with the other guys. I still like Kirk. We'll see.

I can't wait for next week. Portugal is on my list of places I'm dying to visit. Plus, Ali's clothes are so cute. I'm so glad someone is dressing her now that she is the bachelorette. And the false eyelashes are helping too.

This is getting good...

When I saw Chris and those shoes I said to my husband "He is probably going home because of those shoes with that suit!" I bet he is gone in Portugal. I'm also wondering if they are changing the format, they gave it all away who goes home in the next two episodes if they aren't changing it. What do you think?

Alyse--I was wondering why they were giving it all away in the preview as well.

I think they just know that we know Frank will be in the final three.

That had to be Kirk's dad who does the taxidermy. He looked just like him.

i don't like Ty either. That whole date was WEIRD.

There's something that bugs me about Frank, too. Can't put my finger on it. Beady eyes? Do his teeth slant inward? Not sure.

I can't wait for next week's taxidermy display...I was cracking up! That was a lot of dead animals. Sometimes I watch this show and I feel like I'm living the Bachelorette, but the bachelors aren't cute...just weird. So, wrestler had a girlfriend. I was dating a guy and he got engaged to some other girl while we were still going out. I only found out because when people heard he was engaged, they assumed it was to ME and congratulated me. At least Ali found out now!

This post isn't about Jacob and Edward, so I stopped reading at Craig.

But I did catch a glimpse of olive oil wrestlers. Mmm.

@ Heather-oh my gosh, what a loser! Or should I say "Congrats on your engagement!"

As always, your post is highly amusing.

The Gephardt reference cracked me up because when my mom and sisters and I got locked in the mall last week 10 minutes after it closed I was saying, "We need to get Gephardt!"

I totally missed the first half of the show, I'll have to catch up tonight. I think Frank is going to pull some type of insecurity/commitment issue. If so, he's an idiot. They make a great couple. I really hope that Ty isn't the last guy kneeling because I can't feel him. If it's not Frank, Roberto needs to be the man...and he's the hottest by far. Come to Michigan and we can watch the next episode since I can't get Jimmy to put down his boring books and watch it with me!

SO glad wrestler went home and was called on the carpet on the show!! LOVED that!

This post is hilarious as are the comments. Rated R running through the bushes was the best part, but the voicemails he left his girlfriend were down right pathetic.

What was up with Ty's "necklace?" Did anyone else notice the huge charm around his neck?

On a side note it was great to see you at the pool.

you are so funny. craig and ty have been annoying from the beginning, I can't believe she likes ty. Did you see how cocky they both got after just a little one-on-one time with her?

And I think it's so lame that ty spent so much time calling wrestler out on being there for the wrong reasons, and then Ty starts singing and playing the guitar last night. Self promotion anyone?

They totally gave away the farm with that preview! I didn't see much of Kirk in the Tahiti preview though...

Not sure what to say about last night's show....glad Craig is gone, he seemed like the obvious choice. I guess I'm still standing behind my top 3 prediction of Roberto, Kirk and Frank, but I'm afraid Frank is going to break her heart. I'm on vacation for the next 2 weeks, my parents don't have a TV, so I'll definitly be catching your recaps.

I am mad that I was too messed up to watch last night! Had to tune in for my update to hold me over til I can watch it!

Michelle,

I believe you can watch the Bachelorette episodes on HULU or at least on ABC.com.

No one should have to go without the Bachelorette just because there is no tv.

Ashley, being hospitalized for a collapsed lung is not a good excuse for missing the show.

The Turkish Bath house thing freaked me out! I can't believe that Frank is going to break her heart. He's not worth crying over!

Soo... I have relied on you to keep up the current going ons. And then I watch tonight. I am sorry Brooke but is there anyone who is cute? Did they not have enough good entries or does Ali just like little men who are warts? There is not one from tonights show that would intice me for anything but a friend. I almost laughed out loud when she said Ty is good looking. ???? I guess it is good we can all have our own taste.

dang, I just read comments. Is Ashley ok? What happened?

Sheryl,

Ashley is in the hospital right now because her lung collapsed on Monday morning. Unfortunately, she has had some complications and it may be another day or two before she is out. She is finally on some decent pain medication so she is doing better but was in a lot of pain the first couple days. My mom is flying there today from Rex and Sarah's. Hopefully, everything will be fine and so far, the baby is still fine and she is not in labor.

I'll keep you posted.

Yet another wonderful recap, Brooke. I concur on all of your points. Chris and Ty have to go next. Does it drive anyone crazy that Ali says, "supposebly"? Seriously, who decides to just switch the d for a b. I don't get it. I fear next week is not an Ali episode but an showdown between Jake and 'Sage.

Also, so sorry for Ashley!
